Belleisle
This 18 hole Parkland Course in Ayr is the flagship
of South Ayrshire Golf. considered by many as one of the finest public
courses in Scotland- Host to some top Scottish and European Competitions,
the long fairways are flanked by hundreds of tall beech trees and
crossed by a winding burn. With only two par 4's under 400 yards
and one of the hardest par 3's in Ayrshire Golf. it is a golfing
challenge.
Dalmilling
The course opened in 1961 and is situated near Ayr's
famous racecourse. The outward nine holes have been completely redesigned,
with the new sixth hole a short par 3 surrounded by a burn running
into the River Ayr.
Seafield
Seafield runs adjacent to Belleisle. within the
bounds of the Old Racecourse in Ayr and shares all the facilities.
It is an 18 hole course and though shorter than its Championship
companion, offers an interesting mixture of 10 parkland and 8 links
holes.
Girvan
A "pugnacious little course" with opening
eight holes running alongside the seashore- Crossing over the road.
the final 10 parkland holes are dissected by a river. The elevated
tee on the 171 yard, par three, fifth hole is stunning, framed by
Ailsa Craig, characterising Ayrshire and Burns Country.

AYR is Scotland's premier racecourse, hosting both Flat and National
Hunt fixtures. Normally holding at least 25 days racing every year
